Patrick joined b2venture in April 2023 as an Investment Controller based in our office in Zurich. Previously, he worked in the Investor Relations team of Verve Ventures, where he handled operations and is no stranger to venture capital.

A Dutch native, Patrick gained broad investment experience after his bachelor’s degree in journalism. He worked as an Investment Advisor for ING in Amsterdam, before joining ABB as part of the Global Pension Management team, where he covered asset classes from bonds and equities to private equity and real estate as an Investment Analyst.

Privately he also writes from time to time about investing for outlets such as SeekingAlpha.

He is a big fan of cigars and whiskey, preferable enjoying both simultaneously.
