Camilla von Gayl is Manager in the Investor Relations team at b2venture.

She received a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the School of Business and Economics in Maastricht, and started her career working at a law firm, where she was responsible for the conception and validation of an early-stage venture capital vehicle focusing on legal and regulatory technologies in Europe.

She joined b2venture in 2019 as an Analyst in the Direct Investments Team, helping to identify investment opportunities for the b2venture angel investor community.

Camilla is a born networker with a mind designed to engage and bring people together - she can identify someone new who might be right for the b2venture angel community, while understanding both the industry sectors individuals in the b2venture angel community are interested in, as well as when the right time to reach out with an opportunity.

What drew her to venture capital and b2venture, in particular, was the chance to collaborate with the firm's broad and unique community of business angels. “My very first job out of university was working as an executive assistant for a business angel from the b2venture community, and I was immediately drawn to the intergenerational philosophy of the firm, in which an older generation of entrepreneurs acts as mentors to those just starting out.”

She has also been the driving force behind important formats for the angel investor community, such as the annual Think Tank conference in Switzerland, which brings outside thought and business leaders together with the b2venture angel community and portfolio companies to discuss the future, as well as important issues facing the ecosystem.

She joined the Investor Relations team in 2023 and works closely with Partner Stephan Schürer to drive our fundraising efforts.

A lover of classical music, Camilla also sings regularly in her local choir in Berlin, where she was born and raised.
