Before joining b2venture in December 2021 as Vice President of Communications, Chase was Head of Global Communications at app analytics platform Adjust, where he led corporate communications, public affairs, and content marketing.
Prior to that Chase was Head of Digital in the Strategic Communications practice at FTI Consulting, helping establish the consulting group’s digital communications hub in Germany. Before working in communications, Chase was a journalist, covering technology and corporate news in Europe for The Wall Street Journal. Prior to that he wrote about German politics and business for The American Prospect, Politico, and other publications.

Chase holds a B.A in Art History, Germanic Studies, and Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and a M.A. and PhD from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
He is a notorious coffee addict, who has a particular love for Ethiopian beans.
