Marie is an Analyst in the b2venture Fund Team.

Growing up with two older brothers and often being the youngest in the room, Marie learned early to observe, ask questions, and try to understand things a little faster than everyone else. “That made me curious by nature,” she says.

‍

Marie spent time in Canada before completing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Münster, including a semester at the Norwegian School of Economics. Later, she moved to Lisbon to earn a Master’s degree in International Management from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.

Marie brings cross-sector expertise spanning Supply Chain, FinTech, and PropTech & Construction. Most recently, she worked at lemon.markets, where she helped build API-first brokerage infrastructure for fintechs, banks, and wealth managers, and supported the company through its growth and eventual acquisition.

To her, venture capital brings it all together: the variety, the dynamism, and the opportunity of supporting founders at scale.

Outside of work, she enjoys her daily morning runs, wandering through museums, and bringing friends and family together around the table. “No matter how busy life gets, you always make time for good food and good company,” she says.
